So, after a lot of struggles HAHA, I've finally decide to add a permanent category on this blog which is #SheetmaskSunday!
What is #SheetmaskSunday?
It's a post about all the sheet mask empties that I've tried in a month. So, #SheetmaskSunday will be up on the blog in the end of every month!
By using Korean skincare, I developed a big addiction to sheet mask. I have no specific criteria for my sheet mask. I love to try everything new when it comes to sheet mask. I basically buy every sheet mask that catch my attention, LOL.
And, you need to remember that I write this post based on my experience, so when I say a sheet mask is bad on my skin, it doesn't mean that it will be bad on your skin too. It based on your skin type and condition too, you can read about my skin type here.
So, here is my first #SheetmaskSunday
Here are 7 sheet masks I've tried in April.
1. Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask: Aloe
Price: Rp. 12500,- (bought at: online)
Texture: Super thin layer, but it fits well on my face.
Thoughts: It has a lot of essence, but honestly I thought that this mask has too much liquid and it left a lot of excess essence until your face can't absorb them and it becomes so wet on your face. The aloe is not really give the shooting effect. The moisture level is average.
Overall: 6.5/10
Repurchase: Maybe, for different variants.
2. Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask: Bija
Price: Rp. 19000,- (bought at: Innisfree Store, Central Park)
Texture: Thin layer and fits really well on my face. I really love Innisfree mask when it comes to the texture.
Thoughts: Idk if this is biased or not, but Innisfree's sheet mask has never disappoint me. It sits well on my face, it's moisturizing adequately. The price is also affordable. But, I don't really like how this Bija one smells.
Overall: 8/10
Repurchase: Yes, but for other variants.
3. Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet: Aloe
Price: Rp. 10000,- (bought at: online)
Texture: Thin layer and it fits well on my face.
Thoughts: Impressed by how shooting this mask is on my face. I used it when I have several tiny-red-bumps on my skin, and the next morning my bumps are calmer, although my bumps didn't disappear like magic overnight, but I'm quite satisfied with the result.
Overall: 8.5/10
Repurchase: Definitely!
4. Beaute Recipe Mask Sheet: Avocado
Price: Rp. 20000,- (bought at: Beaute Recipe Counter, Mal Golden Truly)
Texture: Super thin, too wide for my face (but it's my common problem with Japanese sheet mask)
Thoughts: Love the smell. The moisture level is average. Honestly, it doesn't give any special impression except for the good smell.
Overall: 6/10
Repurchase: I don't think so.
5. Foodaholic 3D Natural Essence Mask: Coenzyme Q10
Price: Rp.6500 (bought at: online)
Texture: Thin layer with 3D shape that fits well on my face
Thoughts: A unique shape of a sheet mask because it's 3d so it will even cover your jaw and nose well! The moisture level is average but I think it's enough because it also provides enough moisture for my jawline area (I have a problem with dry patches on my jawline area).
Overall: 7/10
Repurchase: Yes because it's so cheap! But I would like to try the other variants.
6. Secret key Nature Recipe Mask Pack: Aloe
Price: Rp. 10000,- (bought at: online)
Texture: Thin layer but it's too wide on my face (it's not even Japanese sheet mask?)
Thoughts: Moisture well and I can notice that my skin feels bouncier after I used this, but not too much that I want to touch my face all the time. A moderate sheet mask I think?
Overall: 7/10
7. Celebon Collagen Essence Mask: Red Ginseng
Price: Rp. 23000,- (bought at: Guardian)
Texture: A quite thick layer for a sheet mask, fits well on my face.
Thoughts: My #1 SOS mask because it's so easy to find, just go to the nearest Guardian and you can find this on the facial care section. But I think my skin didn't absorb the essence well. Or, it only a little of essence? Or maybe because it's thick layer? Plus, I hate the smell of red ginseng, it smells like Chinese herbal medicine.
Overall: 6.5/10
Repurchase: Yes, if I run out of my sheet mask, and I will buy the other variants.
